Raindrop Practitioner Training
These courses provide two options. The first is simply workshop days to enable you to use Raindrop on family and friends.
The second option is a more comprehensive training in the Raindrop Technique and is taken over 3 days (two consecutive days, followed by a third training/assessment day 4-6 weeks later).
Option 2 of Raindrop has been fully approved and insurance is provided by Balens, ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists), and Towergate Insurance – for students holding an aromatherapy qualification. These insurance companies see Raindrop as a CPD for Aromatherapists.
However, to successfully complete Option 2 training, practice sessions and case studies have to be completed and passing the theory test, and practical examinations, which take place on the third training/assessment day. For students travelling from abroad SKYPE arrangements can be made to witness the return demonstration and arrangements can be made for the written paper.
Theory and practical training are interwoven throughout the course and there are many hours devoted to these aspects of the training to ensure all qualified practitioners are confident when treating friends, family and clients. For students who want the work towards the Raindrop Practitioner Certificate, students must complete 15 practice sessions which incorporates 4 case studies.
Day 1 – Vitaflex – a total of 13 moves will be taught. Also, health & safety, definition, how it works, theory and working with oils. 11 moves will be taught on day 1 with the other 2 on the Raindrop day.
Day 2 – Raindrop Technique – the day will start with a full demonstration of Raindrop, together with lecture of what it is, how it works, the oils used, the benefits and restrictions of the technique.
