Here is the list of some of the essential oils you will be learning about and using on this course. 

Basil, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Cypress, Eucalyptus (Blue), Frankincense, Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Orange, Oregano, Peppermint, Rosemary, Tea Tree, and Thyme.

1 x 115ml V-6 carrier oil to make your blends &

Cost of course: £675 – to include:

  • The 12 Modules contained in the on line Theory Course – £75
  • 5 practical working days (practical massage, blending, discussions, Q&A sessions, Tutorials)
  • 1 Assessment day – either face to face, in a class setting or as online Zoom tutorials and recorded final treatment.
  • Marking and grading of modules, assignments and case studies.
  • Aromatherapy Diploma issued with ABT insurance package details.

Recommended : Young Living Premier Starter Kit and the Raindrop Technique kit – these oils are an additional cost and can be bought over the first few months of training.  These two kits will give you a good start to your oils and includes a pre-blended oil for massage and a carrier oil too.  You can buy the oils here

Practical Day 1 – on this first day you will unpack your starter kit of oils, label them, and place them in your carrying case in alphabetical order.

There will be a demonstration of an aromatherapy abdomen massage – using a pre-blended oil, as discussed by the group – and students will practice on each other.

There will then be an aromatherapy foot massage with an introduction to Vitaflex, again using a pre-blended oil chosen by the group and time for students to practice on each other.

Practical Day 2 – Day 2 will start with an aromatherapy back massage demonstration, using a pre-blended oil as chosen by the group.  Students practice on each other.   A facial massage will then be demonstration and students practice on each other. Day 2 will end with a Q&A session.


Practical Days, 3, 4, 5, 6 will be practice of the full body massage, blending techniques and time to practice. Consultation Skills, giving after care advice and how to set up a practice.

Written Paper – for any student wanting to attempt the written paper on any of these days, time will be allocated to them, either before or after the demonstrations and practical sessions.
